Welcome to Pilatesrules.com!!!  Pilates truly has changed my life and I want to share my love of it with you!!  In 2003, I found myself 40 lbs overweight and I wasnt really much of an athletic person.  Well, one morning, I couldnt get up out of bed because my lower back was in such pain.

Well, I was able to roll myself out of bed and get to a health care professional.  He told me to start doing the treadmill with some light weights as well.  I tried this was many weeks to no avail.  But, one day while I was doing the treadmill at the gym, I had an epiphany….the gym was offering one on one pilates lessons.  I decided to try it and I have been hooked ever since.

After only 4 or 5 sessions, my back was greatly improved.  That was much more than I can say for all the time I spent on the treadmill and doing some light weights!!!  Then, little by little I started to become stronger…much stronger than I have ever been.  And in 6 months, I lost those 40lbs!!!  It was a like some kind of miracle!!! So, ever since then, I have devoted my time to pilates as my only real form of exercise and it truly has worked wonders for me!!
